New headlight bulb for my 200NS

Just changed my headlight bulb to the new Philips X-treme Vision 130% bulb and noticed an immediate improvement in light throw compared to stock bulb. It was a direct replacement of the stock bulb. No modifications required and LTA-friendly. Now night time swee swee bright bright! Inexpensive DIY project…

Silly Rookie Mistake!

It was a surreal moment, like living a dream. Finally got my 2B, got myself the 200NS and went riding this morning – first actual ride. Did a silly rookie mistake. The Pulsar 200NS is a carbourated bike. Last night, when I got home, I turned the fuel petcock to the OFF position. This morning, I forgot all about that, started the bike, and went riding. Managed to get about a kilometer or so from home and stalled the bike at a traffic light junction!! Thank goodness the bike didn’t stall when i was in the middle of riding. But all that said, riding is FUN!

I got my Class 2B License!

Yeah! After 3 months and 4 days, passed on my first attempt! Just got home after a gruelling day. Completed the mandatory Expressway Familiarisation Course and had to wait for quite a while for license application (long queue at TP office). But in any case, FINALLY!!…. hahah…

Actually, passing rate today was quite high – 39 passed in the class of about 50 people. That’s almost 80% of the class!

Can’t wait to go bike shopping now!
